Automated Production Line for PCB Assembly, Soldering and Inspection

The fully automated production line handles the entire manufacturing process, from incoming PCB handling and precise assembly and soldering to X-ray inspection, sorting and packaging of finished products.
How the Process Works
Material Loading
Two types of PCBs enter the production line in blister trays. The boxes can be loaded manually by an operator or transported automatically using AMR/AGV systems.
Assembly
A robot picks the PCBs from the blister trays and precisely places them into prepared fixtures. A handling unit then assembles and aligns them. The assembled PCBs are placed onto a transport pallet.
Soldering
The control system distributes the pallets among six Japan Unix soldering robots. Three contacts are soldered on each product, with localised infrared preheating performed before each soldering operation.
Inspection and Output
Soldering is followed by X-ray inspection. Based on the inspection results, the production line automatically separates OK and NOK products. Approved products are placed back into blister trays and transported to the output station, which is also prepared for AMR/AGV integration.
