Automated Assembly Line for Electronic Door Handles

Comprehensive Manufacturing Automation

The production line covers the entire manufacturing process of an electronic door handle, from electronics preparation and assembly through technological operations and quality inspection to laser marking, sorting and packaging. The solution integrates individual operations into a single automated production system.

How the Process Works

Electronics Preparation

The process begins with the automatic feeding of pins and their insertion into the PCB by pressing. Camera-guided positioning accurately aligns the wires with the soldering pads for subsequent robotic soldering using Japan Unix technology.

Assembly and Technological Operations

The electronic assembly then undergoes ultrasonic welding, plasma surface treatment and temperature inspection. Product flow is managed by a conveyor system with pallets.

Potting and Mechanical Assembly

The next steps include automatic PCB potting, curing using infrared emitters and leak testing. The line then applies a membrane and two-component adhesive, robotically clips the painted cover into place and presses the housings together.

Inspection and Final Output

The product undergoes functional testing, while a camera system checks the uniformity, intensity and color of the light. After laser marking, OK/NOK parts are automatically sorted, a protective film is applied and the products are finally packaged.
